The Company focuses on hiring a diverse product range to the mining, petrochemical, oil & gas, quarrying, construction, heavy engineering and manufacturing industries.

Our core services include:

• Diesel Driven Compressors, ranging from 400cfm to 1200cfm; varying pressure ranges
• High Pressure Diesel Driven Compressors from 15 bar – 35 bar.
• Electric Driven Compressor hire, in capacities from 170 cfm to 1960 cfm
• Guaranteed Oil Free Diesel and Electric Driven Compressor hire, in capacities from 800 cfm to 1500 cfm at pressures of up to 24 bar.
• Dryers available with a pressure dew point down to -70 C.
• Generator hire at 220 or 380 volts with power ratings from 20 kVA to 1000 kVA, with distribution boards, cables, C.O.C. kits and lighting sets. Our Generator rated currents are from 43 to 1443 amps. Our generators can by synchronised to provide your exact power requirement.
• Transformer hires, allowing our generator outputs to be stepped up to 525 volts.
• Pumps, wet and dry priming pumps, sizes ranging from 2-inch to 12-inch.
• Industrial Plant Rental (IPR) – a long term rental solution which offers products from our diverse fleet for your particular application with 24/7 technical support, including all planned and preventative maintenance parts, labour and costs as well as emergency use of a standby fleet unit.

As part of the Specialty Rental Division within the Atlas Copco group, we are part of a global network, and are able to source specialised machines such as Nitrogen Generators.

Organisation

Head Office, Administration, Central Workshops, Used Compressor Sales and IPR are based in Jet Park, Boksburg.

Branches are located in Cape Town, Durban, Kathu, Sasolburg, Richards Bay and Jet Park.

Twenty-four-hour hire facilities and service back up are operated from all outlets.

Rand-Air is equipped to offer on-site services for special projects which operate as a fully functional depot with essential staff, machine availability and reliability around the clock. Servicing of our fleet is monitored based on the usage and preventative maintenance is done periodically to ensure reliability of the rental unit.

The national fleet is managed from a Fleet & Logistics department in Jet Park and transported around the country to the point of need as necessary.
